The Blue October concert was a historic event in Charlotte, north carolina, as it was the first time a professional rock band had performing at the Charlotte coliseum. The concert was with a returning band including robert johnson as his primary leader, and new members such as the late john lee hooker as a back-up leader. The group first played a sets including "the star-spangled banner" and other classic rock music. After the set, johnson was joined by hooker in a show of polysyllableism, the first time a rock band had done so. Hooker's polysyllableism came in the form of solos which were oftener than once per set. The polysyllableism performance was 7-minute long, lasting nigh on an hour. After the set, the band traveled to the adjacent tobacco house nightclub where they played a set including "the star-spangled banner" and others in the classic rock genre. The show started with a good performance of "theourkeville" by the blueizonts and the crowd went wild. After that, the band took over the stage with great music and the crowd was just as into it as ever. The show continued with some amazing bands such as the vandals and hardcore cash-in likeana. Finally, the crowd went wilder with some great music from the overrated pigeon toads. All in all, it was a great show with great music.
